I recently moved to a new web host in the UK. For the time being they will remain anonymous but that might change if the server continues to run as slowly as it is.

I am running a Virtual Private Server (VPS) with a handful of sites currently sitting on it. None of the sites at the moment are generating huge amounts of traffic so it’s not as if they’re the ones causing the problem. It seems as if the server is having problems with processing the mySQL database requests.

I logged a call yesterday to find out what was happening but no response so I sent a follow up email earlier today. Still no response. A previous call I logged with them took over 2 weeks to remedy. Methinks I shall be looking for a new hosting company fairly soon….
