Step Two

August 20th, 2006 · 2 Comments

Step Two has been successfully negotiated. From my original one dollar I am now up to $4 having doubled my dollar twice on the spin. This step was a simple game of Spoof. I’m sure everyone has played it – it’s a game where you guess the number of coins in the other players hand. Wikipedia have a page set aside for the full rules of spoof – read them at your leisure!

Given the nature of the Twenty Steps Challenge, the odds can only ever be evens as the other participant has to have the same chance of winning as you so I only had one coin. He called none – I actually had the coin in my hand so I won. Short and sweet – nothing else to say, really. I’m double bubble after two rounds. Bring on Step Three!

Congratulations – now what is in the works for Step 3? The $4 to $8 double?

    BTW – I love spoof…

    Hi Richard,

Thanks for the congrats. With regard the next step, part of what I’m hoping for on here is that the readers of Twenty Steps come up with ideas for The Challenge and then I let the die decide. The reasoning behind that is in my post Origins of the Challenge. I’ve got a couple of ideas but it would be nice to get regular readers to come up with ideas….*cough* *hint* 😉

    Cheers,

    Mike
