Time Magazine has announced that Person of The Year 2006 is..wait for it..YOU! Yes, that’s right. You. The person sitting in front of your monitor picking your nose. You’re a winner! You are officially Person of The Year.
Time magazine praised the public for “seizing the reins of the global media” and filling the web’s virtual world. The explosion in user generated content on the internet via sites like YouTube, Facebook, MySpace and Wikipedia were cited as the reasons behind the award.
Congratulations, you. You follow such luminaries as Bill Gates, Bono, George W Bush and..erm..Adolf Hitler.
