You never check your stats every hour just to see your hits
There’s no creativeness coming out of your finger tips
You’re trying hard not to show it (baby)
But baby, baby you know it
You’ve lost that blogging feeling
Oh, that blogging feeling
You’ve lost that blogging feeling
Now it’s gone, gone, gone
Whoa-oh-oh
Your dashboard shows it’s months since you last wrote any new posts
You know it’s been so long, you’ve forgotten the name of your hosts
Your RSS figures dropping (baby)
And baby, it’s all down to you stopping
You’ve lost that blogging feeling
Oh, that blogging feeling
You’ve lost that blogging feeling
Now it’s gone, gone, gone
Whoa-oh-oh
Baby baby, you’re running WordPress 2.2
And you no longer comment like you used to do
You had a blog..a blog..a blog you updated every day
So don’t..don’t..don’t..don’t let it slip away
Baby (baby), baby (baby),
I beg you please..please
I read your blog (I read your blog)
I need your blog (I need your blog)
So bring it on back (So bring it on back)
Bring it on back (so bring it on back)
Bring back that blogging feeling
Whoa, that blogging feeling
Bring back that blogging feeling
Cuz it’s gone…gone…gone…
And I can’t go on…
No-oh-oh…

Big thanks to Shannon for the Photoshop tutorial on the vinyl record.

LOL! I saw the link on Liz’s blog and could not resist your title. This is a great post that holds such truth. I can’t wait to find out How A Blogger Gets Their Groove Back.

Thanks for stopping by, Karen. I wouldn’t hold your breath on the follow up post, though. Judging by my current blogging frequency, it could be another few months!

I’m still on WP 2.3 so I guess your ode would include mois. Mike, it’s good to see your sense of humor is still in good working order.
I’m finishing up my SEO experiment and I’m happy to report my traffic is up more than 500% on average per day without posting. I will be blogging more regularly starting in the New year once I settle on a new blog host company.
Btw, are you still happy with Dream Host? Any good deals on right now?
Merry Christmas Mike, and why don’t you email me your telephone number so I call you personally? The call is free from my end.

Merry Christmas to you too, fella. Will drop you an email with new number.
I’m using DreamHost for a couple of other projects without any problems. Like you, I’ve ditched Blue Fur and will be writing about my experiences soon…
