I’m an SOB!

October 8th, 2006 · 2 Comments

I’ve just got home from shooting a couple of extra scenes for a movie I worked on last year (the director wanted a few more options in the edit) and was going to go to bed early without switching on the computer. As I said in my post about maintaining a healthy work-life balance, I’m trying to avoid the old regime of 16 hour days in front of a PC. However I found myself switching it on in some kind of auto pilot daze.

The new and improved Google Reader is my home page and I saw that Liz over at Successful Blog had some new posts including this weeks SOBs. Well you could knock me down with a feather! I’m only bloody well on the list!

To quote Liz, SOBs “take the conversation to their readers, contribute great ideas, challenge us, make us better, and make our businesses stronger. I thank every one of our SOBs for thinking what we say is worth passing on. Good conversation shared can only improve the blogging community

The official definition of an SOB is here on the Successful Blog site.

What can I say? A big thank you to Liz for stopping by and contributing to the site and obviously a bigger thank you for making me an SOB. I was genuinely surprised and pleased to get the award. I guess it means I’ll have to start writing some more stuff!

Congratulations, Mike. I hope this means that you’ll come over and be a part of our conversation. You have so much to say worth hearing. Do come join us Tuwesday night for open comments and meet the folks who hang out there. You’ll get to know quite a few people very quickly. It’s a great way to make friends.

    Hi Liz,

I’ll try to get over on a Tuesday night. Obviously the main problem for me is the time difference. I’ll have to stock up on coffee and ProPlus and try to make it along…

    Mike
