I’ve been hunting around for an Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) emulator to check out how my sites will look in Microsofts latest bug ridden software. Not been able to find one yet but what I have found is a nice little site which gives you a snapshot of your site in IE7.
Thanks to Dan Vine for coming up with such a nifty little tool.
UPDATE SEPTEMBER 08:
If you’re looking for an IE7 emulator or just want to check out how your pages look in different versions of Internet Explorer then it might be worth checking out IETester. It allows you to compare web pages in IE5.5, IE6, IE7 and IE 8 Beta 2.

Hi Winston,
Are you saying the emulator is useless or IE7 is useless?
Cheers,
Mike

The emulator or IE7?

This emulator is useless. Only what can I see is that my homepage is “Currently Queued”.

I think it’s become a victim of it’s own success, Hiryuu. I just popped over there and can see that they’re currently queuing over 7000 jobs.
I’ll have a hunt around and see if I can find an alternative.
Thanks for stopping by

I’ve used Browsershots in the past and it can also experience long delays in processing but a good shout. Thanks for reminding me about it

Another option is BrowserCam. It previews your website using multiple operating system and browser combo and returns jpg images of the site. They give you free access to the service for 24 hours and after that you need to pay. I’m guessing that using lots of different email addresses might just get around that problem
