Google Page Rank

January 11th, 2007 · 2 Comments

There seems to be some discussion over at DP about what exactly to call it - PageRank update/PageRank export/Toolbar update - but whatever you want to call it, the publicly displayed Google PageRank via the Big G Toolbar is being altered at the moment.

Whilst I’m not particularly phased by PageRank and I certainly don’t have BO, it’s still nice to see that Twenty Steps has finally got it’s first PR and we’re now officially a PR4 :D Some of my other sites have seen +/- 1 changes. I’m not sure the update export has finished yet so I’ll be keeping an eye on how things end up.

Have any of your sites been affected?

Another update: It’s still changing. I just checked one of my sites where the index had a PR3 up until last week. This is now a PR4 but some of the internal pages which were PR0 are now PR5
