First Birthday

August 5th, 2007 · 4 Comments

Well after all the hype and build up, I’ve been away from the computer for most of today enjoying the sun so I almost missed out on putting up a post on Twenty Steps’ first birthday!

The site itself has changed a lot over the last 365 days (onto the third theme already!) but I think it’s finally finding it’s feet in terms of content and style. You’ll be the best judges of that, of course, so I invite you to leave a comment saying what it is that you like about the site and what you’d like to see more of.

Hopefully things are back to normal after the great computer crash of the other week so I’m hoping to be able to post one on a more regular basis. In the meantime, I want to thank everyone who has taken the time out to read the site or leave a comment. I genuinely appreciate you stopping by. Hopefully you’ll have picked up something useful from your visit and enjoyed your stay.

Congratulations of the first birthday of your blog, I hope the next year’s worth of posts as as interesting.

Many thanks, John. It was quite an eye opener putting together the list of posts from the previous twelve months. Blogging frequency as well as quality went up and down a lot over that period so I’m hoping that the next year will show an improvement on both fronts.

    Thanks for sticking with it!

My site is only 6 weeks old. Since you’ve been around for a year now, I’m curious how traffic developed on your site in that time, if you don’t mind sharing.
    Thanks

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Strangely enough, traffic development is going to be one of the things I’ll be looking at later this week so either pop back later this week or subscribe to the RSS feed to get notified when the new post is online.
