Blogging

I’d never written a Blog before so had no idea where to start. I had a look around the internet at various different Blogging applications including Blogger, PHP-Nuke and a number of the Content Management Systems (CMS) but decided to use WordPress as it seemed to have the best technical support and looked pretty easy to use.

I’m certainly not a technical expert but I’m no dummy either but installing WordPress was simple. They quote a 5 minute install time. Well I’d got this bad boy up and running in less than 3. A quick mooch around to find a theme I liked and minutes later Twenty Steps was out there.

A big thank you to Ainslie Johnson for making such a simple theme and for making it free! As any budding internet entrepreneur will tell you, cashflow is King in the early days so having a theme I liked which was free was an absolute bonus. I promise to make a donation to Ainslie as soon as I make that first million ;)
