It seems that Barack Obama is a regular reader of Twenty Steps. He obviously read the post Lipstick On A Pig I published back in December, remembered it and decided to use it in a recent speech.
Apparently it was a dig at Sarah Palin or something. I’ve no idea. Being British I’ve not been following the US elections too closely. I only found out when loads of people started coming to the site using the search phrase ‘lipstick on a pig’ and spotting it on the first page of Google Trends.
Still, whatever the reason, it’s always nice to get a Presidential candidate stopping by. If you do find yourself in the White House, Mr Obama, can you drop the phrase “crap in a hat” into your acceptance speech. Thank you.

Awesome. His slogan: “At least we won’t crap in your hat!”

If he uses that I’ll vote for him. Well technically I can’t but he’ll know that I would have done. If I could. Which I can’t…

So basically what Big G are saying is that there are better things you can do with your time than fannying around with “nofollow” attributes on your internal links.
